Our Widows Program
God has called each one of us to minister to a suffering world. We may not be able to help everyone, but we can do something to help change the world of one woman at a time. God has given us no greater task than to relieve someone else's pain.
The 6.8.5. Initiative and Pambazuka Ministries have chosen to stand in the gap for a small group of homeless elderly widows who have fallen through the cracks of society. Our plan is to care for these elderly widows in their homes as they live out their last years.
Our home-based care program requires our staff to make frequent visits to the widows at their homes to provide proper nutrition, medical care, provisions, and love.

At 105 years old, Miria needed surgery, but we had to get her healthy in order to survive the surgery.
After 6 months in our care, she was strong enough to endure the surgery and the picture above is Miria with the 2 doctors who performed the surgery.

James 1:27 - Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
