The 1,000 People Project

The 1,000 People Project is a unique fundraising project whereby we ask people to donate only $10 per month to help us feed, house, rehabilitate, train, and spiritually support the vulnerable teen mothers, their babies, and homeless elderly widows who reside at the Selah Rescue Center. We want everybody from all stages and walks of life to be able to contribute to the care of these women.

We like to call it, "Small donations with a big impact".
If we can find 1,000 people to commit $10 each month to the care of these women at the Selah Rescue Center, then we will have enough funds to continue our incredible work and have funds for emergencies such as feeding programs in the village or emergency medical care for our women.

Please consider being one of the 1,000 People who stand alongside us to break the cycle of poverty for our teen mothers and alleviate the suffering of our widows.
Help us give these girls
a new start
Our teen mothers have all experienced some level of trauma in their young lives that has put them in our program. Your $10 a month donation will give them training to overcome this trauma as well as life skills for them to use to successfully raise their babies.

Help us care for our elderly widows
Our ministry offers hospice-type care for several widows who have lost their homes for various reasons. Our ministry also visits and offers care to elderly widows who are still residing in their homes.

Your $10 a month donation can go along wany in helping offer care for these vulnerable ladies.
